How to clean your convertible roof
-
Step 1:
Rinse your roof and spray the top cleaner onto the wet surface. For tough stains leave it to sit for a few minutes.
-
Step 2:
Agitate the surface with a soft brush and then thoroughly rinse off. In colder temperatures work slowly for a more effective clean.
-
Step 3:
Apply fabric guard once the surface is dry. Spray generously over the surface and leave it to dry. Avoid getting the roof wet again for around 12 hours.
Why clean your convertible roof?
Regular cleaning maintains the appearance and condition of the roof fabric, preventing dirt, bird droppings, and sap from accumulating.
A clean roof is less likely to develop mold, mildew, and stains, which can degrade the fabric over time.
Additionally, proper maintenance includes not only cleaning but also protecting the roof with specialised products that enhance its resistance to water and UV damage, further extending the life of the convertible top.
